David knew he wanted to marry Jeriel a few months after they started dating. They had been together for 5 years when he hired The Heart Bandits to have us help him plan an amazing marriage proposal to his girlfriend Jeriel. He knew he wanted a beautiful venue and to have a family dinner after the proposal to celebrate, but he needed some help coming up with a proposal concept that would show Jeriel just how much she means to him. When interviewing him, we learned right away that Florence, Italy played a huge role in their relationship. They met in Florence while studying abroad, they have many memories there, and they go back to visit because it is so special to them. So we knew that whatever proposal idea we came up with had to include Florence. Jeriel loves roses and hydrangeas so we combined that with their memories and love of Florence into the amazing proposal you are about to read all about.
David told Jeriel that they would be attending the “35th Annual ‘RAISING THE BAR‘ Dinner” honoring his dad at a hotel that evening. But instead of a dinner, Jeriel was shocked to walk in and find the romantic proposal of her dreams. As “Fly Away” by Frank Sinatra played overhead, Jeriel walked down an aisle which displayed photos of special moments the two had shared over the years.
Along the aisle were blown up photos of their most treasured memories in Florence.
At the end of the aisle was a gorgeous flower wall we had designed just for Jeriel. Pinned to the flower wall were love notes from David.
After he read each of them to her, he pulled out the final note that says, “Will you marry me” and dropped onto one knee to propose to Jeriel.
