Brian contacted The Heart Bandits with his NYC proposal ideas. At the time, it was one of the most unique proposals I was ever privileged to be a part of. The reason being is that Brian is a great drummer and we made sure to use that skill set in this proposal to create an amazing engagement story.
The day began with Brian and Tamara taking their dog out to the city for a walk. Brian took her to the Washington Square Park area because there was a festival happening right around the corner. After checking out the festival for a short time, they walk to the park and notice a group of drummers.
They are playing some rhythmic African style. After the song, the drummers ask for a volunteer and bring Brian in. Much to the surprise of Tamara, Brian begins playing the next song completely in unison with the other drummers.
Brian adds touches of drum flare as the performance finishes. As soon as it ends, one of the other drummers hands Tamara a bouquet of flowers that she loves and they unveil a sign that asks her to marry Brian. She of course said YES! Congrats to Brian and Tamara!
