At Her Childhood or Parent’s Home

If she is close with her parents or remembers her childhood fondly, this would be an excellent place to propose. The reason is that it brings back nostalgic feeling for her of what she envisioned her proposal to be. Now that you are in her life, it would be like a dream come true.

At Her Dream Destination

Has she always wanted to go to Paris or some other destination? Why not take her on a surprise trip there? Doing something like this will be a great way to conceal the fact that you are going to propose there, thereby making a surprise proposal easier to pull off.

At Her Favorite Local Destination

Does she have a local destination that is her go-to place when she’s happy or looking for fun or relaxation (places such as parks, beaches, or areas with scenic views)? If so, consider using this place as your proposal location. Just make sure that the destination works for a proposal. (ie you don’t’ want to propose to her at her favorite dive bar as you’re drinking)

At a Romantic Destination

These could include places such as wineries, national parks, museums, or beautiful lakes. If the other above places do not exist or are not viable, a romantic destination would be great for you. The more scenic and romantic the better. Plus it will give you a great place to revisit on future anniversaries or weekend getaways.
