David and Devon’s love story came to life when The Heart Bandits, marriage proposal planners, created a jaw-dropping proposal over-looking the beautiful lake in Big Bear, California. We are so excited to share the details of this stunning Big Bear Proposal.
The Proposal
David wanted to re-create their memories of places they traveled together as he walked Devon down an aisle of rose petals. To help his idea come to life, The Heart Bandits created a sort of memory lane that displayed photographs of places they traveled. Below each picture was a special memory that David and Devon shared together.
As David walked Devon down the aisle, a violinist played her favorite song and her eyes filled with happy tears as she relived each memory. The first easel read “Glasgow, where we first laid eyes on each other in 2010 and shared our first kiss six years later.”
When they reached a stunning arch framed with beautiful white flowers, the sun was shining through creating the perfect backdrop. David then got down on one knee to pop the question! Overwhelmed with joy, Devon couldn’t stop kissing David and said Yes!
