This is one of my favorite proposals of the year so far! Bryan is a busy executive who wanted to give his Colombian girlfriend Marcella, a dream marriage proposal. Marcella has a few loves; her culture, nice things, and white flowers. The gorgeous couple were visiting New York for their dating anniversary. Bryan told her that he had reservations that night for somewhere special and so he arranged her to go on a private shopping trip to pick out something special for the evening. Later that evening, she was dropped off at an ultra-glam penthouse in the city where Bryan was nervously waiting for her in a stylish suit.
When Marcella arrived, Bryan walked her down an aisle of rose petals as musicians played Marcella’s favorite Colombian songs. He always calls her, “Mi Amor” which translates to “My Love” in English. This was the inspiration behind the 6 foot floral sculpture. As he approached the beautiful words, he dropped to say some of his own beautiful words…in Spanish! Marcella was totally in shock.
After the proposal, they spent the rest of the evening celebrating and requesting her favorite songs from the musicians. You can watch the video here:
