Kristy hired us because her and her partner Kirstin live in Bermuda and they were planning a trip out to San Francisco. Obviously, it would be very difficult for her to plan a San Francisco proposal idea from Bermuda so she knew she needed some help.
When we interviewed Kristy, a few things stood out to us right away. The first thing is that she referred to Kirstin as the “best gift she had ever received.” The second is that their shared saying is “Love Anchors The Soul” and they have both matching anchor tattoos as a nod to that saying. Here is the theme we presented to Kristy and of course, the theme she chose!
Kristy and Kirstin arrived to a beach in San Francisco where they had an amazing view of the Golden Gate Bridge. Suddenly, they stumbled upon a beautiful huge white gift box which symbolize that Kirsten is a gift to Kristy. A violinist played their special song as Kirsten lifted the gift box up. Underneath the box was a beautiful poem called “The Gift” in the shape of an anchor. The poem shared all of Kristy’s feelings in the form of a poem and after Kirsten read it, she dropped to her knee to propose.
Kirsten said yes and we couldn’t be more excited for the gorgeous couple. We are so flattered to have been a part of the most beautiful same-sex marriage proposal of all time.
