This isn’t just the most beautiful same-sex proposal I have ever seen, it is the most beautiful proposal EVER!! The pictures are stunning, the couple is oh-so dapper, the venue amazing, and the decor is divine. And I am not just saying that because I planned it, but I did!!
First, let’s talk about the stunning venue that was totally Phil’s idea. He and Jeremy are building a home together and so he really wanted to do something special in the home where they would eventually start their new life together. The two love small-plate style dinners, wine, and going out to eat so we came up with the concept to have a private chef prepare them their very first dinner in their first home.
Jeremy’s favorite flowers are bright tropical flowers so we used that as the basis for decor. We had bright colored rose petals sprinkled throughout the house, a gorgeous tropical color centerpiece for their dinner table, and aisles of candles around the home to set the mood. The table for two was set up in the master bedroom, in front of a wall draped with fairy lights and white flowing fabric.
When Jeremy walked in, he was completely blown away and shocked at what Phil had set up. Phil walked him back to the master bedroom and proposed. Jeremy said yes! The two spent the evening eating the most decadent food and sipping on wine that Phil hand-picked. We couldn’t be more happy for this gorgeous couple.
