One thing that guys tend to be bad at is the use of color in their proposal. Most girls have a favorite color, so it’s a good idea to incorporate that into your proposal. Here are ways to do just that.

Flowers in Her Favorite Color

This is probably the simplest way to add color into your proposal. It’s an elegant and classic way to give your girlfriend something nice and not have your proposal look plain in pictures. Learn what her favorite type of flower is and buy that color of flower to include in your proposal setup or give a bouquet to her.

Buy Her a Dress in Color

If you want to make her feel like a queen, then a way of doing that is by buying her a new dress. Have her wear the dress on the day of your proposal and she will be happy she did. The pictures will look great especially if you incorporate the next item on this list.

Accents on Tables or Signs

Adding the color to other things such as tables or signs is a great way to liven things up. Please consider that if she has a favorite color, add various shades of it though. You do NOT want to have the setup be all EXACTLY the same monotone color. If you add different shades of the color or complimentary colors, the atmosphere that you create will really stand and will be a lot more pleasing to look at.

Colored Engagement Ring

This one is more risky because the standard is a clear diamond engagement ring but if your partner is trendy and loves color (especially if she’s dropped hints to you) then this could be a great thing to do. These types of rings are all the rage right now so if she has a favorite color, this could be a great way to work it into the proposal.
