This marriage proposal is probably one of the proposals I am the most proud to have planned. Manuele is a busy professional who wanted to make sure his proposal to Patricia was amazing and heartfelt. Like any other busy professional, Manuele was short on time so he chose to hire The Heart Bandits – Wedding Proposal Planners to plan his proposal. We interviewed Manuele and found out that Patricia’s ideal date involved flying to Paris for a dinner and then flying home. We presented the concept of bringing Paris to New York and Manuele loved it.
We discussed our vision with Martin Jobes Design and agreed to make a 9 foot Eiffel Tower made of moss and flowers as the focal point for the proposal. But Paris just isn’t Paris without a macaroon tower and Champagne so there was a Parisian cafe created for them to celebrate at.
And just to make sure there was just the right amount of flare, we added an accordion player to play French music who showed up in a black and white shirt and a beret. Parfait! That is perfect in French.
When Patricia walked in, she could not believe her eyes. She thought she was just going out to dinner and couldn’t believe the level of effort that Manuele had put in to ensure she had a fairytale proposal. What did Patricia have to say about her proposal? “I am writing to Michele Velazquez and team to let you know that I was the most happiest girl this Friday getting proposed to in front of the most gorgeous Eiffel Tower I have ever seen! I am head over heels in love with what you and your team did! It was my dream come true. So much work has gone into that beautiful set up and I loved everything about it. The champagne, macaroons, the chairs and the table were perfect I felt like I really was in Paris. The candles that were placed next to the grass wall were gorgeous and those rose petals were stunning! Accordion player was the perfect touch I can still hear those beautiful tunes in my head!!!
