Dr. Wilson contacted us because he wanted to create an amazing proposal for his girlfriend Natalie. He was going to be visiting Chicago and it was important to him that her family be included. We immediately began interviewing him and creating some luxury proposal ideas for him when suddenly, we got an email from him saying we needed to change the whole plan. His girlfriend made a comment that it was her dream to be proposed to in Paris and this whole thing needed to be Paris themed! He mentioned she loved Champs Elysées so that became our theme. We worked with amazing event designer in Chicago to re-create the Champs Elysées tree lined street with a replica of the Arc de Triomphe at the end as the main feature.
Needless to say, when Natalie walked in she was completely blown away to see all of the work Dr. Wilson had put into the proposal. And believe me, he was not hands-off. He was involved in every detail of this elaborate marriage proposal from start to finish. A violinist played their special song “Come to Me” by Goo Goo Dolls as Natalie walked toward Dr. Wilson standing at the Arc where he proposed. She said yes!
But there were more surprises in store. After the proposal, the curtains were opened to reveal the stunning view. Tables were adorned in linens of her favorite color with matching colored orchids. He walked her over to the tables to look at the photos that were displayed from throughout the relationship. Just then, her family came in to congratulate her. When Dr. Wilson emailed us to thank us later he said, “She is still speechless which is incredibly hard to do.”
