Kevin contacted The Heart Bandits because he needed some help proposing to his girlfriend Christine on their vacation in Honolulu. He and Christine had been dating for a little over 4 years when he decided to propose. He envisioned blindfolding her and leading her down to a scenario on the beach, where he would take her blindfold off and reveal an amazing proposal set up. That’s where we come in.
When coming up with the proposal idea, we found out that Christine is also a die hard Disney fan, her favorite memory with Kevin is going to Disney World, and Kevin calls her his “Disney Princess.”
We merged Kevin’s vision with our creativity and came up with the most amazing Hawaii proposal idea! Kevin blindfolded Christine as soon as she got out of the car and walked her down to the beach at sunset.
Kevin took her blindfold off to reveal that on top of her favorite color pillows were 4 Disney themed gifts. The first was a glass slipper next to a chalkboard that said, “My search is finally over,” to represent that he had found his Cinderella.
The second was a wand to represent Kevin’s intentions to make all of Christine’s wishes come true.
The third was a tiara with a chalkboard that said, “You are my Princess.”
And last, two roses under a bell glass a la Beauty and the Beast.
After looking at all of he romantic surprises, Kevin walked her into the center of the most enormous and beautiful heart made of orchid petals. There, he dropped to his knee and asked her to be his wife. She said YES and we couldn’t be happier and more proud to be a part of this special moment.
