I love this marriage proposal so much because it is simple, elegant, and yet still breathtaking. Jason contacted us to to help us plan his proposal to Jenna. When we spoke to Jason, we learned that he and Jenna had been married before to other people and that they truly believed that now, they were with who they were meant to be with. The song, “Near To You” by A Fine Frenzy, is a song that they think speaks volumes to their situation. We thought so too so we used that as the crux of the marriage proposal idea. We hired Reni Lane to sing and play the beautiful song on the piano. We covered the piano in bright red tulips, Jenna’s favorite flower. We lined the room with lit candles and submerged tulips. When Jenna walked in, she heard their special song and was blown away. Jason took her by the hand and the two shared an intimate and special slow dance. Then, he got on his knee to propose. She said yes and the two celebrated with her favorite Moscato wine. We couldn’t be more honored to have played a part in their special day.
