I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE when I get to work with another entrepreneur! Vishaal, CEO and Co-Founder of Combatant Gentlemen, reached out to us to have us plan the best engagement proposal for his girlfriend Priya. The two things he knew were a must was to incorporate a city view and to make sure the proposal had a surprise element to it.
We came up with a dramatic proposal concept which included hundreds of daisies, a private room in a restaurant with a city view, and some special messages prepared by Vishaal. Here is how Vishaal popped the question:
Priya and Vishaal arrived for their dinner reservation. While they were dining, our team was busy transforming a private room into a daisy paradise. Our amazing florist made a monogram wall of daisies with their initials which was the backdrop for the eventual proposal.
Huge flower arrangements (taller than we are) were all around the room!! Signs with messages from Vishaal to express how he feels were beautifully displayed. He even had us make a sign that said, “Thank you for admitting that Romo > Dez” since they are both Dallas Cowboy fans!
A dinner table complete with a daisy table runner, candlesticks, and Dom Perignon was created for their after proposal celebration.
And then the moment came. Vishaal excused himself from the dinner table and came to the room to wait for his girl. When he walked in we asked if he was nervous and he said, “I don’t get nervous.” Cool under pressure, we like it!
Finally Priya is brought in and she couldn’t believe her eyes. Vishaal took her to read each sign, then stood her in front of their monogram as he proposed.
She said yes!!!! The two then spent some time taking portraits on the rooftop and then celebrating with amazing dessert and Champagne. We are so honored to have been a part of their special day.
