The Heart Bandits set out on a search to find a service that provides a great way to propose marriage, the most romantic date idea, or the perfect romantic gift. To our surprise, we found it right here in Long Beach, CA. Corks Away Wine Adventures is the perfect place to propose, take a date, or to give as a gift. Owners Captain Nate and Shane rebuilt a forty five year old sailboat, named the Wildflower. They cruise the Naples /Alamitos Bay while you snuggle with your honey and sip some wine with them.

Great Way to Propose

A private chartered boat ride around the bay sets the perfect scene for a wedding proposal. The boat is very quaint and has nice benches with blankets on them which is perfect for snuggling. What is great about this particular cruise is that they will allow you to bring your own music and champagne if you would like. They will serve you some yummy appetizers and then give you privacy when you are ready to pop that ever-so-special question. If you have any special requests, Nate and Shane will work with you to make sure it is perfect.

Romantic Date Idea

As we have mentioned, being on a sailboat in the bay and sipping wine is a perfect date idea. If it is a really special date such as an Anniversary, you may want to consider getting a private boat for your evening. However, even if you have other guests on board, the boat only seats 6 so you can still have a really nice, romantic evening if you decide to go with a group.
