Luke contacted us to help plan his perfect proposal idea for Jacqueline. He and Jacqueline live in Amsterdam so he wanted to propose in Europe and finally settled on beautiful Bordeaux, France. With Bordeaux being the world’s major wine industry capital, we knew that incorporating a wine tasting tour into the proposal would be perfect. We found a Chateau that had a rooftop overlooking the entire vineyards and decided that was the perfect proposal location. When interviewing Luke, what stood out to us was how vivid his memories were with Jacqueline. We also learned that her favorite color is blue and she absolutely loves lilies. You can tell by the photos that she is a sophisticated woman, so we wanted to come up with a proposal idea as classy as she was. Here is how it happened:
Luke and Jacqueline met with their “wine tasting tour guide” in the lobby of the Chateau. They were told that the wine tasting experience would occur on the rooftop overlooking the vineyard. When they walked out on to the rooftop, Jacqueline was blown away. A path of rose petals lead her to a canopy flanked by gorgeous florals on pedestals.
Luke walked her over to the canopy and told her to open the lanterns for a surprise. Inside, she found special memories that Luke cherishes, written down. After reading them all, Luke proposed and Jacqueline said yes!! The two popped a bottle of champagne and then enjoyed a 3 course meal under the sunny French skies.
