You really can’t go wrong here because the entire town is pretty much all beach. There’s also a reason why so many celebrities have flocked to this area. Malibu has gorgeous beaches and it’s very close to Los Angeles so you can enjoy night life and a romantic beach all in the same day.

Point Lobos in Carmel

This is located just off the 17 Mile Drive where you will see amazing multi-million dollar homes and golf courses. Choose a spot to stop and sit on a rock to catch the views. When you propose, that rock will officially become “your spot”.

Coronado

This is San Diego’s treasure. Coronado is a quaint but gorgeous town and the beach here is one of the best. You have a large sandy area where you can easily claim a spot and then have your special proposal moment.

Santa Barbara

One of the best places here is Rincon Beach. The beach here looks pretty tropical so you may actually feel like you’re in Hawaii. Get a good location at this beach and propose at sunset for a romantic time.

Moonstone Beach in Cambria

This is a location that has beautiful colored rocks along the beach. It’s not crowded like other areas of California so you will have a better chance of proposing in a more intimate way.
