Happy Monday everyone! If you are lucky, you find the person you want to spend your life with and one day, you propose. If you are even luckier, you have the opportunity to travel with that person all around the world. That is the case with Daniel. He hired us because he lives in the UK and he felt he could really benefit from having a New York Proposal Planner on the ground to help plan the details of his marriage proposal. But first, he needed a great proposal idea. Since travel was such a big part of their relationship, and because he wanted a view of the New York City skyline, we came up with the perfect proposal concept.
After we found the venue with the view, we ordered a huge map and we put pins in all of the cities and countries the couple had visited together. Daniel came up with the cute idea to add paper planes made of maps. We framed photos of them throughout their relationship and decorated the space with rose petals and candles. When Anna walked in, she was completely blown away.
Daniel walked her over to the window where there was a big covered banner. He had her unveil it and it said “To a lifetime of adventures and explorations together.” She turned around and he proposed! They celebrated the occasion with champagne and engagement ring box petit fours by the window with an incredible view.
