Proposal planning is no easy task. We’ve already addressed the particulars of proposing to an introvert, but if your true love is a mover and shaker who loves crowds, attention and action, you might be bit stumped on how to propose. Here are a few hints for creating the perfect moment with your social butterfly.

Propose in Public

In her dreams, all eyes are on her. Picking a scenic location in a public venue will put her in the spotlight, and bring passersby into the loop as well. The attention of a crowd of witnesses will create a moment of breathless expectation, and the round of applause that’s sure to follow will wow her.

Go Big or Go Home

An extrovert loves activity and excitement. Hire musicians, pick a grand stage, and make sure you have dotted all of your i’s and crossed your t’s. Get as many services and vendors involved as you need, and go as far as necessary to ensure that all of your arrangements make the grade. If you want your proposal to involve a meal, make it a feast at a fine restaurant. If you want to propose in the midst of nature, lead her to a sweeping vista. Half measures will not do, so make sure that everything is up to snuff.

Bring in Backup

The more the merrier! Nothing could make this day happier- except the addition of friends and family! If your wedding proposal will take place in public, you can seed the crowd with your closest loved ones. Remember, go big or go home- make sure that all of her favorite people are there, even if it takes a plane ticket or two.

Record and Celebrate

Extroverts love to show off, and they love to share. Make sure that you have arranged for a photographer or videographer to capture the moment. The pictures will not only serve as a happy reminder for years to come, but can be used as wedding invitations or displayed at the reception, allowing your sweetheart to share her special day with everyone (and show off her fabulous fiancé while she’s at it.)

Scale for Success

Not all extroverts are made equal, and it’s wise to consider your girl’s preferences when planning your proposal. While one girl may want a cheering crowd, another may prefer an intimate scene with a few dear friends and a big celebration to follow. While it may be tempting to go all out, be sure you tailor your plans to her personality.
