Last week when my husband and I were in San Diego planning a proposal, we decided to stop by the Little Italy District in San Diego to enjoy some Italian food.  After we stuffed ourselves full of pasta and wine we went for a walk to explore the area and we came across the coolest art gallery.  The Heart Bandits-Proposal Experts highly recommend that you check out The Pecoff Gallery in San Diego.  The Pecoff Gallery is the perfect place to take a date and here is why:

Paintings

The obvious reason you would go to an art gallery is to look at the art.  But I have to say that Grant Pecoff’s paintings are so colorful and vibrant, that even an art novice like myself will instantly be drawn to the pieces.  The paintings are so bright and beautiful they just instantly put you in a good mood.  Take a look at the painting below and tell me it doesn’t make you want to smile.

The gallery itself is so cute.  It is quaint with hardwood floors and the layout is perfect for walking with your honey hand and hand conversing about all the extraordinary art.

When we went on a Saturday night, we were enjoying all of the art work and this nice man kept asking us what we thought and if we needed help.  Then we realized, he was the artist!  Not only was it cool to actually meet the person who made all of the amazing paintings, but he is really a nice man and was funny!  I asked him what the name of the painting above was and he asked me to guess.  I guessed “Orange and Blue Church” and he said that is what he was going to name it but chose something else instead!  Funny guy!
