Taj contacted The Heart Bandits several months before his marriage proposal because he wanted to make sure it all went perfectly. And perfect it was! He told Shay that he had arranged a photo shoot for them as part of her birthday celebration. But little did she know, Taj had rented out part of the Witte Museum after hours to create a surprise proposal.
Shay and Taj were dropped off at the Witte Museum and chauffeured to a beautiful setup by the river. There, the photographer introduced herself and explained she is there for the photo shoot. The couple posed for pictures and then sat down at a table decorated with Shay’s favorite flowers. They sipped on champagne, snacked on strawberries, laughed, and made a toast to her birthday. But she had no idea what was in store next.
After the first part of the photo shoot, the photographer mentioned that she had an indoor area sectioned off for the shoot as well. When Shay walked in, she was shocked. The room was lit with candles and Taj walked her up to the table that was decorated in tulips and candles. In the center of the table was Shay’s favorite Bible verse about marriage in a beautiful gold frame.
It is here that Taj proposed to Shay. She said yes and we couldn’t be happier for the couple!
