When David contacted us about helping him with his marriage proposal idea, he said that he wanted it to show that there was a lot of thought put into it. He also knew his girlfriend Betty is somewhat shy so he wanted it to be a more private event while at the same time creating a story that she could tell her friends. So that is exactly what we helped him do.
The first part of the proposal began with somehow getting Betty away from her work and to the location of the proposal. We had the perfect idea of telling Betty that David had gotten a Groupon for a limo that he needed to use up. He arranged for the limo to pick her up at her work as a surprise.
The limo took her to her house where she was told to dress up for a nice date. She did exactly that and not knowing where they were going, the limo then took her to a very nice restaurant in Beverly Hills where David was waiting for her. The had a wonderful dinner and Betty thought it was an amazing date. However, it didn’t end there.
David excused himself to the restroom. A short time later the waiter came by and escorted her to an upstairs private area. The area was completely made over into an amazing romantic room. The room had a beautiful floral arrangement, tons of rose petals on the ground, many pictures of her and David from their travels together, and lots of candles. There was even an acoustic guitarist singing her favorite song “Glad you came”. As she was in awe, David appeared behind her. He walked her around the center table and led her to a final frame that said “Our Future Begins Here”. At that point he got on bended knee and proposed to her. She of course said YES! It was a beautiful engagement and just the story that Betty could tell all her friends and family. Congrats to David and Betty!
