Classic, elegant, old-school charm, and glamour are all what comes to mind when I think back to Roy’s marriage proposal. As a Proposal Planner, I watch people get engaged every day. But this proposal just took me back in time and left my heart changed forever. 
Roy contacted us because he wanted to plan a special proposal for his girlfriend Teresa. He already had in mind some things he wanted to incorporate. They are a rockabilly couple and their special song is “We Belong Together” by Ritchie Valens. He really wanted a piano player but just needed help bringing it all together. We began searching for the perfect venue that would allow them to have total privacy and would capture the essence of this old school vibe proposal. Once the venue was secured, we found the most amazing singing pianist that would serenade Roy and Teresa with their special song. We had the room decorated with photos of them and beautiful flowers and candles.
When Teresa walked in, she could not believe her eyes or ears. Roy walked her around to look at all of their photos together and then took her in his arms for a slow dance. He then, dropped to his knee and asked Teresa to be his wife. She said yes and then they sat down to enjoy some champagne. We are so blessed to have been a part of this and we couldn’t be happier for the gorgeous couple.
