Thanksgiving is a holiday for family togetherness, and for savoring the things that you are most thankful for. Your beloved is the thing you are most thankful for, and you’d like to make her a part of your family- so why not plan a Thanksgiving proposal? Here are a few thankful proposal ideas:

Write It Down

For a proposal that stresses family togetherness and gratitude, ask her friends and family for small slips of paper on which they have written the things about her which they are most thankful for. Fill a box with these slips, so that she can go through and read them one by one, eventually uncovering the ring.

Incorporate Dinner

At thanksgiving dinner, wait until everyone is seated, and then suggest that everyone around the table say one thing they’re grateful for. Make sure you’re the last to go, and then declare that the thing you are most thankful for is- her. Make sure that your proposal speech is centered on your gratitude for her, and then pop the question.

Send Her On A Hunt

Around Thanksgiving, a few questions about what she is most thankful for will be expected and unobtrusive. Use the opportunity to discreetly gather a few ideas, and then pull together a few of her favorite things. Send her on a scavenger hunt, and let the clues lead her to tokens of the things she loves best, with the ring waiting for her after the final clue.
