If you read my blog a few posts ago, you would know that a way to create a great back story in marriage proposal is to do something that you “normally” do. If you are proposing on a “normal” date then here are some things to keep in mind.
Make Sure It’s Something You’ve Done Before and She Liked It
When I say a “normal” date, I don’t mean do something that you love and you drag her along to. If she hates going to the sports bar so you can watch the team, that’s not a good “normal” date. If on the other hand, you go somewhere where she’s always smiling like a park or a hike, then you’re on the right track.
Alert the People at this “Normal” Date Spot
The best way to plan this would be through your marriage proposal planner, but if you’re doing it yourself, then you need to make sure that the staff at the location knows what’s going on. The reason for this is that everyone is on alert about it so they’ll be on your side. The last thing you want is to have there be people hanging out at your proposal spot and you waiting for it to clear up.
Have a Photographer
Since you’ve been to this place many times before, you should know the layout of the location. Get a photographer to be waiting at the best location with the best view and where he can remain discreet. She will be very happy afterwards knowing that you took it upon yourself to document this occasion.
Have an After-Celebration
Since you are on a “normal” date but you are proposing, you would still want to do something out of the norm afterwards. A good option would be to do something or go somewhere new as celebration. This may be a new bar or a short vacation as celebration. You would be able to look back at this location as your engagement trip.
