You have your perfect proposal planned out down to the “t” in your mind, now all you have to do is execute your plan. There are many factors that could potentially hurt your proposal instead of helping so today we cover a few topics with solutions to keep your marriage proposal on track.

Weather

No matter how we try and control it, the weather does not conform to any of our wishes. A little rain or a larger storm may threaten your proposal so it is important to keep a backup plan and venue in mind when planning.

The Authorities

It is always a good idea to call and ask a venue if you are able permitted to set up certain decor, ambiance and utilize the space during your proposal. It would be a shame to have your special day end in cuffs so make sure to ask ahead of time. If a venue does require a permit, it usually doesn’t take long to be approved. Be honest when making your arrangements, if you show up unexpectedly with something that wasn’t on your list, that might end badly for you.

Friends and Family

When announcing your plans to friends and family pre-proposal, keep in mind that not everyone is good with secrets. It only takes one person with loose lips to unravel your plans completely and ruin your special surprise so be wise in choosing who you tell. If you are including friends and family in your proposal, make sure to give them a detailed itinerary of the days events to keep everything and everyone on schedule.

We hope that these tips have provided some things to keep in mind when planning your proposal, just remember that The Heart Bandits are here to guide you throughout the process to make ensure you have a seamless and gorgeous marriage proposal!
