As a Proposal Planner at The Heart Bandits, I get to visit and study different cities for the perfect places to propose marriage that is relevant to the couple. Whenever I review marriage proposal ideas for a city that I’ve been to, or lived it’s especially fun for me. Today I’m reviewing proposal ideas for Boston and I’m excited because I used to live in Boston for 4 years while I was in college. It’s a great city and there are tons of places where you can have a great proposal at.  Here are some Boston proposal ideas:

Boston Commons

This place is absolutely gorgeous and it’s right in the center of the city. It has an enormous amount of history, being that it is the oldest city park in the US and it is a beautiful place to walk around at. You can take your love around Swan Lake and propose in the spring time. You can also build a snowman here in the winter and place your engagement ring on it as you surprise your sweetie.

Top of the Hub

This is located at the top of the Prudential building which is the second tallest building in Boston. There aren’t too many tall buildings in Boston so you can be assured that the views you get from here will be spectacular. Take your partner here to enjoy a romantic dinner as prelude or as celebration for your proposal.

The Charles River

In the summer time this is the perfect place to rent a small sailboat and enjoy the charming city skyline. You can even take a gondola ride over there with Gondolas de Venezia . Since it’s right next to the city you can propose here then go celebrate at one of the great restaurants on Newbury St.

Freedom Trail

If your sweetie is a history buff, then along this trail would be a good place to propose. There are many churches and landmarks that have a ton of American history associated with it. Take your partner to this trail to make your own romantic history by proposing at a famous location.

MIT

Ok ok, I’m only throwing that in there because it has a special place in my heart J. But there are tons of colleges and universities in the Boston area and if you’re significant other went to school there a good place to propose might be where they had a lot of great memories.
