Central Park remains one of the best places to propose in New York.  The park is iconic, beautiful, and it only costs a small fee to rent out space.  However, I have to say this is one of my favorite proposals I have planned there and my client Rhys was just the sweetest guy.

He and his girlfriend Jaimee were traveling to New York because it has always been on their bucket list.  Like many women, Jaimee hinted to the fact that she hoped for a big and romantic proposal and the gentleman that he is, he decided that is exactly what he wanted to give her!!  We came up with some proposal ideas after interviewing Rhys about things Jaimee liked and he added some of his own ideas.  Here is how it turned out.

Rhys and Jaimee started their day on a horse and carriage ride around the park. The horse stopped at a beautiful gazebo and the driver asked them to get out and go check out the view.

But quickly she spotted the gazebo covered in amazing red rose petals and Rhys lead her inside.  He sat her down on one of the benches directly across from the word “LOVE” in marquee lights, and he handed her a gift-wrapped box.

Still in complete shock, she opened the gift and got an even bigger surprise.  Inside the box was a framed photo of her son wearing a t-shirt that said, “Mummy, will you marry Rhys?”  Rhys came up with that special addition and coordinated the photo on his own.  Jaimee was taken back with emotion.

And then she got the biggest surprise yet.  Rhys dropped to his knee and proposed using our amazing flat engagement ring box (www.ringstash.com)
